We would be honored to care for your beloved pets while you are away. We have two rescued Boston terriers who are calm, friendly and quite used to being in the presence of other dogs as we often foster dogs for rescue groups. Our dogs are also calm with cats as we have cats at home, they travel with us everywhere and are quite used to being around other animals. Our dogs sleep in soft comfy crates at night and when we are away. They are only on the furniture if they are with someone and on a blanket.  We ask them to be respectful as we travel a lot and often to peoples home who do not have dogs, so we dont want them jumping disrespectfully on others furniture. We own our own home with 3 acres of land as well as a vacation home.

Because we live in the Northwest, we love to travel south November-April and have found that caring for others animal families allows us to do so.

About us – Throughout my life, I have always loved, lived with and been involved with animals.

At the age of 10, I started my own dog sitting business and at age 14, I began training as a dog groomer, which I worked at successfully for many years. I also worked at the local S.P.C.A., and at a pet store. In 1990, I acquired my real estate license, but realized that I could not be happy unless I was working with animals. I am still working in the field of Animal Health and Behavior and my husband Daniel and I are involved in several animal rescue groups.

Re: Letter of reference for Georgina Cyr

Georgina first came into my life as a client when I was

still practicing as a veterinarian and owner of the Tree of

Life Veterinary Care in Courtenay BC.

I have known Georgina for over 15 years and have

always been impressed with her care and compassion for

her own animals as well as the animals of other people.

I have no hesitation in recommending her for animal care

for any length of care.

Having had pet sitters on numerous occasions for my

own animals, I know how important it is that a trusting

and caring person takes care of our animal kids!

With Georgina I would leave my animals in her care and

don’t worry about their welfare! I could not think of a

better person for the job!

Retired veterinarian

To Whom this may concern:

I have known Georgina for 12 years. Georgina has

worked in the animal profession all her life.

I would recommend her to anyone as a caregiver for

their pet.

She is compassionate honest and responsible. She

exhibits a caring attitude and thoughtful insight about a

pet and is capable of providing excellent care.

She has run her own business successfully for over 20

years and so is capable of making intelligent decisions

and doing what is of best interest for your pet.

I would not hesitate to use or recommend Georgina’s

services for anyone wanting to have peace of mind while

leaving their animals during a trip away.

To Whom it may concern,

I have known Georgina Cyr for over 10 years and she has

always been a compassionate person who loves animals,

cares for people and has a gentle soul.

This woman has spent her life time helping others in

many ways including helping them deal with death of a

loved one, the turmoil of daily life, and many other

situations. She is able to put all the turmoil to rest and

bring peace to a person.

Georgina has been in animal rescue for years including

Boxer Rescue Canada and Boston Terrier Rescue Canada

helping dogs in need and saving dogs lives. That is how I

met her years ago. She has always been a caring person

who never judges but loves all.

Georgina is a very trustworthy, honest and caring person

who is very special to many, many people.

I would always totally trust Georgina with my dogs and

all that is precious to me!

To whom it may concern,
I have had the pleasure of knowing Georgina Cyr for

several years. During the years of our acquaintance,

Georgina has been a strong supporter and volunteer

with our rescue organization, Boston Terrier Rescue

Canada, in many capacities.

She has assisted by offering her unique understanding of

the needs of animals, by transporting dogs from shelters

to foster homes, and by opening her home to foster dogs

in need until they were ready to join “forever” families.

She has also adopted from our organization, offering a

loving and responsible environment for these lucky dogs.

Georgina is an intelligent, capable, and dependable

person with a great understanding of animals.

I would feel confident in having her care for my own

spoiled pooches and would trust her without reservation

in my own home.

To Whom it May concern,

This is a letter of particular reference for Georgina Cyr

I wish to express that I have worked with Georgina in

the capacity of understanding animals, particularly dogs

and cats this year and I vouch for her ability to empathize and

respond to whatever an animal’s needs.

Georgina is quite gifted in this way and has helped many

animals by improving their quality of life. Her experience

has also allowed her to work directly with many humans

at times in their lives when it was the most difficult or

challenging. It is clear to me that Georgina makes a

difference, in a positive way, everyday.

Whoever contracts Georgina for work with animals is

benefiting the lives of those animals. I wholeheartedly

endorse such compassionate animal care-giving in my

own work managing an animal shelter on Salt Spring

island in British Columbia, Canada

What a delight it is to know that such professionalism is

shared with Georgina !

It is with great confidence in Georgina’s many skills and

talents working with animals and people that I would

provide such a reference.

Sincerely and with Warm Regards

Sean Patrick Hogan

Branch Manager

This is a note to share a little bit about my friend and mentor,

Georgina Cyr. I’ve been a pet sitter in Boulder, Colorado for the last

15 years. I’ve learned a lot from Georgina, by spending time with her

at her beautiful home on Vancouver Island, BC, at her former winter

home near Phoenix AZ, and through various pet readings for clients.

Georgina’s compassion for animals is really something to behold.

I reference watching her take care of her ancient rescued Boxer

often when I meet a challenging case in dog sitting.

I composed and recorded background music for her CDs 8 years

ago and she still voluntarily sends me periodic royalty checks when

she has a new batch of CDs pressed. Who does that?

Georgina and Daniel will be a most meticulous gift to your home and animals

while you are away. Please feel free to call me so I can rave about it in person.

Best wishes to all!
